Phoenix Museum Tower is an unbuilt design for a high-rise condominium project located within Phoenix’s arts district, featuring 500,000 square feet of contemporary, urban resort living, including a host of amenities to create a dynamic lifestyle. The design utilizes a host of passive sustainable design strategies such as ample daylighting, thermal mass, solar orientation, shading, and evaporative cooling to help provide a comfortable environment for residents in the arid Phoenix environment, and minimize environmental impact and cost associated with mechanical cooling and lighting. The tower is also adjacent to one of only eight light-rail stations along the highly traveled downtown corridor, reducing resident dependence on cars and encouraging the use of public transportation alternatives.
